New! Topical comedy about council cuts!
Dirty
Business by Derek Webb
The hilarious, topical comedy about Council cuts, the
cleaning business and a pair of lacy knickers! Cuts
are on their way big time at the local County Council as it struggles
to find ways to
meet Government spending targets. Josie and Angela are cleaning
the office of one of the
Council's Department Heads one evening when they come across a
file which seems to
show that their jobs are on the line too.
Josie, who has a penchant for malapropisms, and Angela, who is
Queen of the pub quiz
team, are determined to fight the cuts every inch of the way. And
if that means playing dirty,
so be it!
So, when they discover some incriminating evidence which seems
to show the same
Department Head is guilty of marital infidelity, they set out to
try and persuade him to
change his mind about some of the planned cuts. But not everything
goes quite according
to plan...

Luton
Writers
We
have a programme for new writers that provides the way to construct
short fiction, novels, films and STAGE PLAYS. We are currently
recruiting writers who have or would like to have the ability
to write the above.
Meetings are spaced out to enable the writers to practice
the tutorials and should they care to produce a full length
work to suit what they are particularly
interested in. Each group sets the meeting days and dates. The fees to cover
all the costs are £25-00 for the year.
Luton Writers are a non-profit making organisation and any surplus of the
fees is placed in our account to help future plans.
