"PLAY
ON"
by Rick
Abbott
Sharnbrook
Mill Theatre
The
actors are squabbling, the tech goes awry, the author keeps
rewriting the script! A recipe for a hit? Definitely
not, but it is a recipe for sidesplitting belly laughs! Rick
Abbott’s hilarious comedy about the trials and tribulations
of an amateur drama group rehearsing and performing a murder
mystery play illustrates perfectly the old theatrical adage – if
it can go wrong, it does!
If
you like a good laugh, don’t miss it!
at
7.45pm.

Another of the great theatrical successes!
The author Cervantes, imprisoned by the Spanish Inquisition,
defends himself before a self-appointed prisoners’ court
by presenting his tale of Don Quixote, a dying old man whose ‘Impossible
Dream’ takes over his mind. The songs will live in your
thoughts and soul and Don Quixote’s dream will become
your dream, his adventures your adventures.
Come along
and ‘Dream The Impossible Dream’ with
Don Quixote!

"Round
and Round the Garden"
by
Alan Ayckbourn
Sharnbrook
Mill Theatre
Although
this is only one third of Alan Ayckbourn’s renowned
trilogy, ‘The Norman Conquests’, it is a self-contained
play, the al fresco doings of the three couples involved forming
a wildly funny, and at times poignant, story in themselves. Ruth
confuses Tom, Annie gets a glimpse of Norman’s pyjamas,
Sarah disapproves of Reg’s outdoor sports and everyone
gets to roll in the grass!
One of
the most hilarious offerings from the pen of the playwright
dubbed “the comic laureate of Britain’s middle
class.”
at
7.45pm.
Tickets
are from Sharnbrook Post Office in Person or by calling the
Central Box Office
